Becoming a member

Any prospective players interested in trying our sessions on offer are welcome to join us for 2-3 taster sessions, free of charge.
If that player likes the sport and would like to continue participating in these sessions, and wants there is then a Swim England annual registration fee and a modest monthly club subscription.

As a club we take pride in our inclusivity, and as such affordability is something that we are always happy to discuss – we do not want it to be a barrier to participation.

We have a thriving youth section, playing friendly and league matches both at home and away against other local Midlands clubs.
We welcome new players, both boys and girls.

This physical sport requires speed, strength, agility, and high levels of endurance.
As a club, we help develop these attributes along with softer skills such as confidence, teamwork, and communication.
It offers numerous benefits for children, enhancing their swimming and general aquatic abilities while focusing on teamwork, respect, fitness, making new friends, and having fun.

For those who wish to advance their skills further, we collaborate with regional developmental squads.
Several current and many past club members have gone on to represent the club at regional, national, and international levels.

Requirements

  • 10 – 18 years old
  • Swim England Level 7 swimming ability
  • Confidence in swimming in deep water
  • Any level of water polo ability (including no previous experience)

* The Wednesday sessions are targeted towards senior players. Only more confident/stronger youth players should join that want to test their skills at a higher level. *

Mini-Polo

For those younger and/or less confident in the water, we are introducing a new Mini-Polo session every Sunday before the main youth session.
This new format is designed to provide closer supervision and tailored coaching to help build confidence and foundational skills in a supportive environment.

Our experienced coaches will focus on basic techniques, water safety, and having fun, ensuring that every child feels comfortable and enjoys their time in the water.
We believe this will be a great stepping stone for young players to transition smoothly into our main sessions.
